What has been paid against this invoice
Both sources in one list, newest first. "What paid this?" is one question, so it gets one answer. A business chasing a discrepancy should not have to know that an online payment is a charge and a bank transfer is not — though `source` says which, for anyone who does. Only settled, non-test payments appear, so the rows always add up to `paid_minor`. A pending charge has paid nothing yet, and listing it would create exactly the discrepancy this is meant to explain.

Settle an invoice paid by bank transfer, cash or cheque. **No ledger entry and no balance change.** The money went to the business's own account; we never held it, and crediting a wallet for it would claim funds that are not there. This settles the *invoice* and says nothing about the balance — which is the truth, and the reason this is not recorded as a charge. Partial payments are ordinary: send each one as it arrives and the invoice moves to `paid` when they add up. Overpayment is capped at the total by the reconcile rather than refused, because the money did arrive.
